Jarred Dyson

Manager/Head brewer
 

Born and raised in Southern Maryland, Jarred oversees everything from apple harvesting to cider production. Jarred first visited Larriland Farms in 2012 and began producing home brewed hard apple cider shortly afterward. Several years of experimenting and researching later and Free State Ciders was born. Jarred also works for the Social Security Administration in Baltimore.

 

Nicole Kohlhepp Dyson

Marketing Coordinator
 

Born and raised in Baltimore County, Nicole also works for the Social Security Administration, where she met Jarred in 2010. They married in 2016. Nicole uses her background in marketing to coordinate Free State Cider's events, social media presence, and design.

Joseph Dyson

Brewing and Engineering

 

Also raised in Southern Maryland, Joseph oversees our cider production facility. He orders, installs, and maintains the various equipment needed to turn fresh apples into hard cider.
